The way people over here pronounce the word "Reggae". They say Ray-Gay, and for some reason put a lot of emphasis on the first half of the word.
I have started to say it with soft g's, just to serve as a counterpart for the bastardisation of English you can hear while in the American South (note - not South America). So far it has only caused more confusion than rightfully deserved awe.
