FIRST! 2

In the afternoon Sean and myself took his mum with us and went to a park on James Island. While there we ran into Nikki's grandmother who invited us for some New Years Leftover Dinner. It was delicious.

There was another kid there who kept trying to take Sean's globe football, something that didn't go down very well. But it all got better when he tried the slides for the first time. Of course he went straight for the biggest one in the playground...

Christmas Hijinks

This is how Sean and myself spent my thirtieth and his second Christmas Eve morning.

We kicked some ball in the park, as usual. Although it was well colder than usual.

Sicko

I am sick again. I believe this is the fourth cold since October, not counting the wicked stomach virus that knocked me out for a week. I was just starting to enjoy being healthy again, hit the gym the other night and rocked out 10 K in 56 minutes (not bad). Another cool thing I did this week while not hurting all over was to argue the validity of a parking ticket I got last week. I forgot to put up the parking decal and got fined 45 Wonderdollars! After I explained my case to the Parking Authority the ticket got thrown out and I was happy again. But all I can think about now is to go and pick up the boy and get him to bed so I can creep down in between the sheets with my old friend Salman Rushdie (or at least a book of his).

I know the picture a bit blurry (or artsy...) but I thought I'd share the result of me letting the 16-month old dress himself. Personally I don't see the problem in running around in your Elmo swimming trunks, even if it is December and we are inside. Apparently everybody doesn't agree with myself and Sean...

After the Doctors visit the other day two Erikson men went to the park to play some footie and do some random exploring.

Sean is really starting to get excellent control over the whole Football thing.

At the Doc's

Last Friday I took the boy to the doctor for a check up. Here is a picture to prove it!

He is trying to figure out what to do with the lollopop while reading the latest Avon Catalog.

So we turned 30 yesterday. This is just a random picture showing how Crazy it can get in the Erikson household when milestones as such are reached.
