Calton Hill Climber

Here are some pics from a recent visit to Calton Hill. There is nothing like climbing old Victorian observatories.

A Walk With Our Sean

Sean and I went for a walk the other day and here are some of the highlights:

Due to a lot of rain lately the water had risen to mad levels. Always fun when that happens.

"You talking to me?"

We found a very high and very Scottish bridge. Not far from Murrayfield.

We celebrated our endeavor with donuts!

Careful Now

This is Sean posing at the site, not far from our house, where a double decker bus drove inte a building one morning. I bicycled by the site minutes after the crash happened. Needless to say - did I have story for the office that day?!

I See You

When you are trying to get some work done but the curious snow leopard won't leave you alone.

Oh, Hello!

Accidentally surprised this power socket at work.

Sweet!

Finally find a job I'd be good at.

Beauty is Truth, Truth Beuaty.

Sean always keep a stable of stuffed animals near, and they always seem keen to act out plays and scenarios that that mirror our own experiences.
Below one can see the Halloween Spider play the part of the Amazon delivery man with the Dragon, Dolphin, Flamingo family sitting at home (with the child reading a book). All this was played out for the enjoyment of Snow.

Quarantine Fit

Since all schools in the UK are closed Sean and I have been doing a lot more indoor activities that usual. We do yoga, as good as daily, Lego, and Chess. Note that the images below if us doing yoga are a cople of months old and we are better at it now.

Hera are some more pictures of what might happen in the Erikson household the days we are all off together.

The Book of Matt

To kick things off, here is a pic of myself looking my most Mormon-esque. Someone has got to be weird and harass strangers with odd questions now that the real LDS followers can't go outside.

"Have you heard about our cult from upstate New York
that once declared war on the United States' Government"

Do Not Go Gentle Into The Roaring Twenties

And we are, once again, back!
In a well intended attempt to maintain contact with our families all over the world I have decided to revive the old blog. Hope it will as much fun to read and view as it always is to write and post.

SnowFlaker Maker

Sean making snowflakes on his window.

Where?!

Whenever I am about to use this loo, I see the first line on the sheet of paper, stop, and look around to see if I can see a baby somewhere.

Friday Treat

Myself and the lad enjoying some end-of-the-week ice-cream.

That's Nice

Saw this at the local "Scary-Church". Considering all the whack jobs who has claimed to be Christians through the ages, Jesus doesn't really comes of as the most selective semi-deity. But is still nice to get a thumbs up on the way home from work at night.

The feeling is by no way reciprocated - but I do appreciate the Pokémons in the window.

Eat The Rich!

And so the class war begins...

Finally

So, I am now officially a student at The University of Edinburgh. I have registered, and in a couple of hours I am about to select my final courses. Earlier today i signed up with the university's running club and now I am sitting in the Philosophy and Psychology Library in the Psychology building on campus. I have run past this building several times in the past (on my legendary 5 AM runs. (I say legendary - I'm not sure anyone else agrees with that, but as long as no one disagrees - that's how they stay labeled!)), but never dared to assume that I would actually be on the inside, reeking havoc.

On another note: Sean is about to lose his second baby tooth, and is already planning to spend the money it will bring on Nessie-merchandise. for some reason he is really in to the Loch Ness monster at the moment.
