Doppelganger again

Myself and the boy took another walk yesterday, and Sean bore a striking resemblance to Tjet, Allram Eest's DJ and sidekick.

In the office, rocking out to some Broder Daniel, Popsicle and The Wannadies. Today feels like a 90's Indie kind of day.

Swinger Baby

This weekend Sean and I took one of our long walks and decided to head over to a playground whilst out walking. The place seemed somewhat sketchy and looked more like a nightly hangout destination for local meth-heads. Although, we had the all place to ourselves yesterday and had a great time trying out the swings for the first time ever.

Creepy Gym Guy

While at the gym last night I noticed two things while occasionally glancing at some of the 20 TVs they've got mounted at the walls.

1. ETA has declared a ceasefire.
2. Thierry Henry now plays in MLS in America. This wasn’t supposed to be news, but merely mentioned in the passing while they were talking about New York Bulls or Philadelphia Bells, or something like that.

I considered both these snippets of information quite noteworthy, so much so my first reaction when I saw them was to look around in the room to see if anyone had seen what I saw, locate some poor fellow who looked like they had been watching the same telly, and hint to them in the direction of the TV while winking in a manner that was supposed to say "Wow, can you believe that shit?".

One fun thing to do is to sneak in to the bathroom and play with the toilet lid. If anyone catches you, all you got to do is close the door!

 

Saturday Again

Another Saturday, another day in the office. This time, though, I have some awesome photos of wee Sean to share. The two of us took a long walk first thing this morning. This is our story:

Last night I had a dream about artist Molly Crabapple and I solving crimes together. In the movie that was made about our morbid escapades I was played by Ewan McGregor.

In the office, doing a bit of work on a Saturday morning. The only good thing about this is that I can blast Nine Inch Nails as loud as I want to.

Outdoors Weekend

The weather was nice and slightly cool all weekend so the son and I made a conscious effort to spend as much time outside as possible. Saturday morning we went for a refreshing 5K run and Sunday we went for a long walk. The pictures below are of said promenade.

Weekly Update

Here are some of the latest, or most exciting, things to happen to myself in pictures.

A bit of a blur, but you can still make out the determination in his eyes and the wicked awesome Star Wars T-shirt he is wearing.

"Black Pest Prevention". I would say so far they are doing a bang up job. I cant remember the last time The Black Pest hit these shores.

While queueing at Wal-Mart I had the option of casually blethering through Spanish Cosmo and Black Hair.

I met Justin Bieber at the local mall.

Things You Think About as a Parent

How come they haven't done anything about Norman on Fireman Sam?
At least once a week that little ginger brat gets the whole village wiled up and more often than not call on the attention of the local Fire Department. They should all chip in and send him off to a boarding school or juvy.
If I lived in The Welsh village of Pontypandy and had any say-so I would make sure that whole Price family found somewhere else to live.

Friday Update:
Sitting in the office, trying to get organised while listening to My Bloody Valentine.
The past couple of days I have been giving a Spotify a chance. It is alright, but not more. I would have to say I prefer Grooveshark. It might be a bit trickier to find what you're looking for on GS, and things mightn't be there from one day to the other (I was really disappointed when my whole catalog of The Brian Jonestown Massacre disappeared overnight) but it is easier to add songs to your play-list while still playing it and there are no commercial break, 30 seconds of Selena Gomez can ruin a whole hour of Primal Scream (Fact!).

Tonight I am hoping to finally get caught up with the recorded last games of the Tri-Nations. Cant go wrong with some Friday Night Rugby.

Up and About
